MFFCE uses donor data to:

Unless a donor requests anonymity, MFFCE may recognize donor names and giving levels in our annual report, event materials, or website. Donors may opt out of public recognition at any time by contacting us directly.

5. Access, Updates & Deletion

Donors have the right to:

  • Review and request changes to their donor records
  • Opt out of communications at any time
  • Request anonymity for any or all donations
  • Request deletion of personal data in accordance with applicable law

We take the security of your information seriously and maintain appropriate safeguards,

MFFCE may use trusted third-party platforms for donation processing, email communications, and CRM systems. All vendors are contractually required to comply with our privacy and data security standards.

We never share donor information with political parties, commercial marketing groups,
or unrelated nonprofits.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

As a California-based nonprofit, MFFCE complies with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Donors residing in California may request:

  • A list of the categories of personal information collected
  • A copy of their personal data
  • Deletion of personal data (subject to legal exceptions)
